A child’s success in school is important not only for their continued academic success and later career development, but also for their self-esteem now and in the future.
I use cognitive training to help your child, your teen, or even yourself to succeed in school or to decrease ADHD symptoms.
Cognitive training focuses on improving complex reasoning, attention, working memory, and impulse control in children and adults with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, traumatic brain injury, and many other cognitive impairments.
I recommend one or two 45-minute sessions per week to create permanent changes in attention, focus, and concentration after about 30 to 40 hours of training.
I integrate training from Play Attention and the Captain’s Log Mental Gym to maximize results.
- Play Attention is software that advances upon the same technology that US Air Force pilots and NASA astronauts use to increase their attention and short-term memory.
- Captain’s Log is a game-like system that has over 40 programs to train cognitive skills such as attention, reasoning, working memory, hand-eye coordination, processing speed, and logic and reasoning.
