The Connors’ 3rd Edition (Connors’ 3) is a rating form designed to help with the diagnosis of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The Connors’ 3 has versions for parents, teachers, and children and adolescents themselves to fill out. When assessing for ADHD it is important to get information from multiple people that see the child or teen in different types of settings (home, school, with friends) to get a more well-rounded and accurate picture.
The Connors’ 3 assesses the areas of inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, learning problems, and difficulties in working memory and planning. The Connors’ 3 also screens for difficulties in anxiety, depression, aggression, and family and peer relationships.
